History
In History, we have homework booklets that are given out at the start of each topic. These booklets contain tasks for your child to complete. Each task has a numerical number and we work through them in order, i.e. task 1 is at the start of the topic and task 6 at the end.
Some homework booklets may include a research project that may take more than one week, whilst others may include activities to be completed every two weeks.
Your child’s class teacher will ask them to write in their homework diary which week we are on and when the homework is due in. Information about homework is also posted on your child’s Google Classroom so please ask them to look there for further guidance if they are unsure.
The homework booklets run in the following order:
- (The English Civil Wars) autumn 1,
- (Life during the 17th Century) autumn 2,
- (The Rise of the British Empire) spring 1,
- (The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade) spring 2,
- (The Industrial Revolution) Summer 1 + 2
Each booklet can be found below.
