New Take Your Place resources and webpage for parents and carers
Take Your Place work in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, and Peterborough supporting young people to understand and explore all the options available to them after school or college. Higher Education Champions (HECs) from Take Your Place deliver talks, activities, and events to engage and support students in our school. Through online resources and events, they also offer free and impartial information and practical advice to parents and carers, so you can give your young person the support they need to make informed decisions about their future. Much of the support is shaped by the insight provided by a team of Parent and Carer Ambassadors – parents and carers who have supported their young people into higher education and are keen to share their experiences to support other families.
With a NEW Parent and Carer webpage, animated videos, and a ‘low down’ guide to higher education, they’re here to support you to develop your knowledge and understanding too. Keep a look out for posts from Take Your Place social media accounts over the next few weeks and check out the website for useful resources, information and support.
