Sports Day 2016

Despite the move away from the house structure this year, old house rivalries returned yesterday as Years 7, 8 and 9 took to the school fields for Sports Day 2016.
10 new school records were set in a variety of events as students strived to beat fellow competitors and their own personal records. Students taking part in track and athletic events had been working on their performance during PE classes and outside of school hours and the level of personal achievement far excelled that of previous years.
Thank you to all students who took part in the events as well as those cheering them on from the side-lines. Excellent sportsmanship and hearty competition were displayed all-round.
Congratulations to Mercury House who clinched the overall victory by two points over old rivals, Saturn!
