The Year 10 students heading off on a humanitarian expedition to Cambodia next year have been stoically continuing to fundraise under even more difficult circumstances than they had imagined.
They will be holding a Year 10 Christmas Pop-up Shop every lunchtime next week to help generate more funds for this and have been busy creating goods to sell.
These goods will have been stored in school for 72 hours before going out on the stall and students will be wearing face masks/ gelling hands.
It will be taking place upstairs in the Foxborough building and for Year 10 only. There are lots of lovely stocking fillers as well as sweets and chocolates too.
The funds raised not only help facilitate the expedition but also help pay for the materials needed to construct the medical facilities, schools and environmental projects the students will be working on. More crucially, it allows us to set up the communities with facilities they can use and manage long after the humanitarian teams have left- this is sustainable change.
If you are in Year 10, please come along to the shop- there will definitely be something there for you!
