On Tuesday 21st March, staff were invited to bring in their four-legged friends to school for the day to meet our scholars and donate money for the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Dogs of all shapes and sizes graced classrooms and corridors with their wide eyes and waggy tails and spread smiles on the faces of staff and scholars alike. The day was hosted to mark the beginning of the school’s fundraising campaign to raise £2500 to sponsor a guide dog puppy through Guide Dogs for the Blind.
Scholars will have the opportunity to name the school’s pup, as well as meet it and receive ‘pupdates’ on its training progress via the school’s newsletter.
Guide Dogs for the Blind receives no financial assistance from the government, so we look forward to raising as much money as possible for this very worthy cause!
