School Council Charity Bag Pack

On Friday 10 March, 5 members of our School Council took to the tills at Marks and Spencer to help happy shoppers pack their bags in return for donations to a very worthy cause.  Year 7s Nathan Joyce, Amelie Rough and Rhys Jeeves, along with Year 8s Chloe Utting and Emily Sharman, spent almost 3 hours with staff and customers at the store, helping to raise awareness of and funds towards Ward 17 at the James Paget University Hospital in Gorleston. Ward 17 specialises in Oncology treatment for patients undergoing chemotherapy, blood transfusions and more. A total of £199.59 was raised in under 3 hours and students were presented with bags of sweets as a thank you for their help and support!
