At the start of a new half term please can we remind you of the procedure for notifying the PE Department if your child is ill or injured.
Your child's class teacher should be emailed or telephoned directly at the earliest opportunity to explain the illness/injury and agree on what provision will be made in their PE lesson.
Please do not leave messages with other staff in the school as there is no guarantee these will reach us in time. It is also important for the teacher to receive this information directly, so that they can understand the full extent of your child's illness or injury. This also applies to written letters, which we do understand may be easier for parents, however make it very difficult for the teachers to make suitable provision for your child prior to the start of their lesson.
