Benjamin Britten School Council welcomes their new Chair and Vice Chairs for 2017-18

Congratulations to Year 10 Thomas Huggins who has been elected as the new Chair of the School Council for the upcoming year! Thomas has been part of the School Council for a number of years and is also a member of Waveney Youth Council. Further congratulations to Year 9s Zara Williams and Jenson Read, who have been elected as Vice Chairs of the School Council.  Both Zara and Jenson are also members of the Waveney Youth Council and we are looking forward to seeing what this enthusiastic new team has to bring to the table in the new academic year!

A big thank you is also extended to Harry Franklin for his work as the Chair of the council over the last year. Harry led philanthropy projects, helped to organise trips, chaired many meetings, hosted the Waveney Election Hustings and submitted our entry into the Speaker's School Council Awards 2017 and we are extremely grateful to him for the time and effort he put in to the position. Good luck in college Harry!
