Guiness World Record Attempt: World's largest simultaneous Maths/Science lesson

Friday 7th October 2016

31 students and 3 members of staff represented Benjamin Britten in an attempt at the World's largest simultaneous Maths/Science lesson.

At 11am, children took part in a sports themed lesson where they collected, collated and analysed data. Activities included children

running the 100m, answering questions about circulation, recording how fast they could run in a set time and timing runs of different distances.

Our children also looked at historical Olympic record trends and completed the session by tackling a logical problem solving task.

We thank local PCSO Norman Drew for being an official monitor for the day. All of the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

We now wait to hear whether we have been successful in the attempt...
